Responsibilities

The Opportunity

  • Supports Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety strategic plan according business’s priorities, integrating standard EHS considerations and processes into corporate decision making and operations.
  • Supports the implementation of an integrated management system for PepsiCo’s environment, health, and safety compliance programs.
  • Monitors performance metrics and compliance with PepsiCo’s standards and federal, state, and local regulations to ensure continuous improvement by incorporating a process of ongoing monitoring, reviews, and revisions of procedures and policies through the use of the Plan – Do – Check – Act (PDCA) model across Pepsico LatAm to achieve our goal of 0 accidents, 0 occupational diseases, 0 Landfill, 0 environmental damages, absenteeism reduction, risk reduction, reduce water and energy consumption, and ensure business continuity.
  • Act as a central driver of sustainability for LATAM sector,
  • Scope: LatAm Operations (manufacturing sites, warehouses, distribution centers) and Sales. PepsiCo Global Corporate.

Your Impact as EHS & Sustainability Strategic Planning Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Develop and Support, consolidation and communication LatAm EHS & Sustainability Monthly & Annual Operation Plan.
  • Lead and coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety data management and performance metrics across LatAm. Data management and governance trainings, handbooks trainings. Ensure Q and Annual Data Validation Process.
  • Monitors performance metrics and compliance with PepsiCo’s standards and federal, state, and local regulations across LaTam,to ensure continuous improvement by incorporating a process of ongoing monitoring, reviews, and revisions of procedures and policies. Myehs administration and ToDo Dashboard Maintenance.
  • Coordinates and Integrates EHS Compliance Tasks across LatAm according PepsiCo’s Global EHS Management system and applicable regulations. Tasks schedule in myehs.
  • Support GEHSMS programs development and implementation across LatAm. GEHSMS Academy coordination.
  • Mapping and drafting of EHS legal requirements, licenses and permits, by tracking and analyzing applicable legal requirements across LatAm.
  • Ensure adherence to MyEHS system across LatAm users and validate the information in the system.
  • Track Direct GHG (Scope 1), Electricity Indirect GHG (Scope 2) & Other Indirect GHG (Scope 3)
  • Track action plans status from audits and evaluations to ensure their completeness across LaTam.
  • Coordinate Global EHS & Sustainability Data audits to ensure the reliability and confidentiality of EHS data and information across LatAm operations.
  • Ensure correct tracking and closure of action plans derivated from audits and inspections focused on risk reduction.
  • EHS Global support as a representative of the sector for myEHS Information System.
  • Standardize and optimize processes, information systems and reporting of EHS incidents & metrics to ensure their reliability and confidentiality.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Industrial Engineer, Chemistry or related
  • Advance English (Verbal and Written skills)
  • 2 years + of experience in Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Knowledge of EHS Management Systems (GEHSMS) and it’s applicability.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and protocols for Injury and Illness Record keeping.
  • Knowledge in ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 and their applicability.
  • Familiarity with current EHS regulations
  • Statistical analysis
  • Effective networking skills in a multi-country, multi BU, multi functional region.
  • Knowledg using: Microsoft Office, Enablon (myEHS), Global Brain, Power BI, Tableau.
