Supply Chain Finance Intern

Description -

We are looking for University Students to work part-time at HP as a college intern during their last year of study.

The Intern will be part of Supply Chain Finance for 1 year approximately, collaborating in the Costing and Accounting process for Americas region. This role requires interactions with other finance functions like Controllership, Tax, Market Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Credit & Collections. Outside of Finance such as Logistics, Operations, etc.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily tasks such as:

• Costing & Accounting

• Analysis of cost fluctuation

• Pulling financial reports for month end close

• Tracking of approvals provided by Finance

Education and Experience Required:

• Currently enrolled in a University Degree with 1 year left to graduation (Accounting, Finance, Finance Engineering)

• May have experience as a financial analyst

• May have experience in more than one finance function

Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.

• Good analytical skills.

• Good business application skills (Microsoft Excel & Power Point).

• Database management and consolidation.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Good English communication skills

• Good teamwork skills.

• Proactive, multi-tasking skills

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

• Macros programming in Excel

• Power BI & SAP knowledge
