Job Title: Catalog Specialist with Amazon Experience - Latam
Location: Remote (EST Timezone)
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:AM to 6 PM EST
Role Overview:
The main focus of a Catalog Specialist (with Amazon Experience) is to manage and optimize clients' product catalogs. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong, excel skills, analytical & communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot, attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to excellence. A strong attention to detail is a significant part of this position.
A Catalog Specialist (with Amazon experience) understands the importance of optimizing the Amazon catalog to facilitate higher visibility, sales, and rankings. In general, these detail-oriented professionals are responsible for brand or product onboarding, data entry, and update/maintenance of clients' catalogs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product onboarding and data entry to add new ones or update the existing
- Update and maintenance to keep clients' catalogs relevant and accurate to the latest details.
- Categorization and organization decision-making to ensure easy product discoverability. Ideal candidate understands Amazon categories and how products fit in those categories
- Amazon A+ content uploading and troubleshooting
- A/B content uploading and troubleshooting
- Resolving problems that appear as Flat Files (excel files) are uploaded or changes are not reflected on Seller Central
- Troubleshooting on Seller Central in regard to uploads, catalog issues, category issues, images, matching errors, etc.
- Providing assistance on urgent tasks, a flexible schedule with strong communication on variance from standard hours
- Strong communication with manager and teammates regarding possible issues; analyze the situation and recommend corrective actions
- Follow pre-defined processes, guidelines, and SOPs to perform audit tasks to meet the required level of accuracy and productivity.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to work independently while using guidelines and SOPs
- Ability to make logical decisions while auditing tasks and dealing with ambiguity
- Provide feedback to streamline existing processes to help the team achieve more consistent results with high quality.
- Thoroughly check product details to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data.
- Review authoritative sources to validate catalog data when needed.
- Identify patterns in browse and audit to be translated into guidelines and SOPs to improve overall audit outcome.
- Must be flexible to meet business requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in English.
- Candidates must demonstrate language proficiency in all the following: verbal, writing, reading, and comprehension.
- Strong working knowledge of basic computer business applications such as MS Word and MS Excel, Google Suite.
- Strong background in web search and familiarity with various ways used for searching for information
- Good data analysis skills and great attention to detail
- Ability to work a regular schedule (to be determined based on location) with flexibility available in communication
- Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce) and Internet search industries
- Familiarity with Amazon Flat-files
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central
- Familiarity with Amazon Categorization
- Experience with project management tools is a plus
