SUMMARY

Responsible for all property, buildings, and infrastructure that is part of Refrigerator Plant. In this position the qualified candidate will be responsible for supervising all work activities related to building maintenance as well as coordinating the preventive maintenance programs of the non-production equipment. This individual will also be engaged in planning, budgeting and scheduling for all facility modifications including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Activities include PM’s to HVAC systems, compressed air systems, fire protection, electrical, sewer, water and natural gas services.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of skilled trades workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds.
• Prepares work schedules and gives work assignments to subordinates.
• Directs workers engaged in major painting projects; performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings;
• Maintaining and repairing building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems.
• Supervises workers engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies and inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
• Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems.
• Performs related work as required and supervise outside services.
• Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, facilities modifications or expansion.
• Budget management
• Energy saving management.
• Maintenance Cost Estimation Analysis
• Coordinate contractor activities and outside services.
• Prepare and submit energy report and corrective actions to NA group.
  

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical engineer
• Previous experience: 5+ years on Facilities or Plant engineering department
• Experience on Energy saving projects.
• Microsoft office
• 85% + English

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in building maintenance and forklift repair.
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Plant maintenance support in all departments.
• Oriented towards service and excellent communication, ability to direct technical personnel.
• Experience in project management, effective delegation and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Leadership skills, team development and staff training.
• Knowledge in environmental management systems ISO14001 (environmental aspects, operational controls and objectives and environmental programs)
