Mission

The accountant assists the Accounting Manager or the Accounting Cycle Analyst with Group and local norms accounting activities.

He/She handles layout, entry, verification, control, quality and consistency of accounting transactions and accounts within his/her remit.

He/She ensures these activities comply with Group referentials and relevant country's legislation and such information is available within prescribed deadlines for preparation of financial statements.

Key Excepted Achievements

Main point of focus is the activities for Mexico, however, will be active backup for Customer (Revenue) CA & US cycle reviewer.

Legal entities under scope are MX small companies and big company: 839. Legal entities could change due to business needs.

Customer cycle reviewer (Revenue cycle reviewer) will be responsible for the balancing between systems for the 7 companies of AMN/AMC as a team. Each person is accountable for achieving the balancing in a daily and monthly basis.

Revenue systems balancing

• Control systems impacting revenue recognition and perform accounting close of these systems monthly. This position requires that closing duties begin on the 1st day of each month even if they 1st fall on weekend or holiday. The companies which are balanced in a daily basis are: 407,415,569,603,796,798,839.
• Control systems could change depending on the projects and evolution of the business (For example FIE: AS400 and SDS, Oracle, NASA, DSS and could change due to OPEN or other projects or changes in the business).
• Ensure O2C Internal control 11.01.01 is performed and passed.
  
  

NAR (Net accounting revenue) responsibilities

• Ensure that Net Recovery (NAR) and sales reserves are properly stated and consistent with Doc de Base and other pronouncements relevant to revenue accounting.
• Provide function support and expertise to UOT’s regarding NAR and sales accruals.
• Assist regarding analytical reviews, expertise and functional support to revenue systems and accounting.
• Perform random audits according to O2C Internal control 11.02.01, in the frequency defined by the SLA/DPA
• Perform new accruals setup and accruals adjustments
• Set up NIMSPN in the invoicing system
  
  

Produce monthly accounts

• Reconciliation and Justification in Blackline
• Action plan creation and follow up of open items
  
  

Month End Closing

• See SOW for detailed activities
• The AR (accounts receivable) modules close is a shared responsibility between the revenue team. The 7 companies with AR module in Oracle for AMN/AMC must be closed every month.
• Ensure the quality of the closing activities, set processes in place to ensure accurate Financial Information of the companies within the US Cycle Review.
• Execute specific activities for US: run the autoadjustment for internal consumption, daily balancing and AR to GL reconciliation, such as posting any journal entry and adjustment that will be necessary for MEC.
  
  

Monthly accounting review

• Prepare and provide explanations for month end close
• Prepare, attend monthly meetings with GR of production companies during mid-month
• Prepare and provide explanations for GR for small companies in a quarterly basis
  
  

External audit

• Execute and delivery on a timely basis all the PWC requirements or any other Local requirements upon agreement by the line manager.
• Provide information for Local Financial Statement preparation
  
  

Internal audit

• Execute and delivery on a timely basis all the internal control requirements.
  
  

Weekly meetings and relationship with Conduent/Pune (If needed given the nature of the cycle)

• Contribute in weekly meetings with Conduent’s team to address daily transactional tasks to be followed under the group and local rules
  
  

Ensure consistence and correct application on Doc de Base

• Procedures and tasks must be held in accordance with Group norms
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 1- 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Full English performance
