We are currently seeking a ETL/Datastage Develope to join our team in CDMX, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX).

ETL/Datastage Developer

Job Duties:

Design and build scalable DataStage solutions.

Update data within repositories, data marts, and data warehouses.

Troubleshoot problems in ETL system designs and processes. Provide DataStage tool administration functions over user maintenance, tool version control compatibility management by working with various technology vendors - IBM, Salesforce, Teradata etc Senior ETL/Mainframe Developer is responsible for providing L1(Monitoring) and L2 (Troubleshooting) of Batch in multiple test environments.

This Job requires experience in supporting both Mainframe and Distributed systems.

Execute, monitor and manage Batch cycles in multiple environments.

Must have prior experience and working knowledge in some or all activities: troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and/or configuring in relevant Mainframe and Distributed technologies.

Maintain and assist with ongoing technical applications and operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

Provide L1 and L2 batch support in a shift model (5X16) for multiple test environments.

Execute, monitor and manage Batch cycles in multiple environments

Acts as a technical liaison between developers, Quality Analyst, Business team and other Infrastructure/Technology partners to help coordinate resolving the issues First line of support in the batch environments for 50+ applications/systems Perform Batch configuration, execution, monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting of batch jobs

Troubleshooting the Batch failures in all the supporting environment and applications

Analyze and Fix the Data Issues or Defects from QA and support the testing needs

Support in flexible schedule on weekdays and on call support in weekends

Build internal automation tools for various maintenance process

Perform Root cause Analysis for recurring issues and work with application owners for L3 support

Required Skills:

5 or more years of experience in batch support role

3 or more years of experience in Oracle SQL,PL/SQL in RDMS

3 or more years of experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 3 or more years of experience in job scheduling tools CA7 and Autosys 3 or more years of Batch configuration-new setup of JOBs, PROCs, PARMs

2 or more years of experience on version control tools like Endeavor or any other similar tool

2 or more years of experience in ETL processes using IBM Info Sphere Datastage or similar ETL tools

Hands on experience on ALM or any defect management tool

Hands on experience in NDM and MQFTE file transmission process

Preferred Skills:

IBM DataStage certification or similar type of qualification

Working knowledge in JIRA and Agile methodology

Basic understanding of US Retirement Products/Insurances Experience in production/Test support environment Experience developing and modifying scripts such as (shell/python) in a Linux or Unix environment

Knowledge of Cloud services

Knowledge of Devops, CI/CD tools

Experience in Splunk

Service now/Incident management tool

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar field
