We are currently seeking a Git/Jenkins Administrator to join our team in CDMX, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX).

Git/Jenkins Administrator

Job duties:

Responsible for deploying code and other proactive maintenance activities to keep the services up and running

Ensure continuous availability of various tools supporting SCM & Release Management including Source Control, Continuous Integration, & Change Management.

Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management Incidence management and root cause analysis

Coordination and communication within the team and with customers.

Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.

Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).

Mentoring and guiding the team members.

Implement new versions/upgrading tools Jenkins, Gitlab, JFrog Artifactory

Required Skills:

4 - 6 years experience Systems Administration, analysis, and solution recommendations.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Systems Administration with solid understanding of Linux Systems (CentOS, RedHat), hosts, networks, security, applications, and proficiency in shell scripting.

Minimum 2 Years Of Hands-on Experience In Using Ansible.

Minimum 1 yr. experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, JFrog Artifactory, Maven, Sonar etc. [nice to have] Experience owning infrastructure in production, as well as designing and creating build/deploy & monitoring systems.

Hands-on experience in performing RCA and providing solutions for CI failures. Hands-on knowledge on installation of CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Sonar, JFrog etc

AWS DevOps Certified – Preferred, Not Mandatory

Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban principles

Excellent communication and servant leadership skills

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability

Knowledge of containerization tools like docker/Kubernetes.

Experience installation and maintaining Jenkins, Gitlab, JFrog Artifactory

Need very strong experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, JFrog Artifactory, Maven, Sonar etc

Hands-on leader with AWS DevOps, Deployment and CICD architecture and engineering level experience

Good Java background, Software Delivery and Deployment engineering

Expertise with AWS (e.g. IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda)

Version control system experience (e.g. Git)

Operational (e.g. HA/Backups) NoSQL experience (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation)

Experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale

Experience owning infrastructure in production, as well as designing and creating build/deploy & monitoring systems

Bachelor or master’s degree in CS, or equivalent practical experience.
