Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs:

• Understanding of Maximo and eSOMS Systems: Familiarity with the functionalities, features, and architecture of Maximo and eSOMS systems is essential. This includes knowledge of their modules, workflows, and integration points.
• Testing Concepts and Methodologies: Strong understanding of software testing concepts, including test case design, test scenario creation, test execution, and defect management. Knowledge of different testing methodologies such as functional testing, regression testing, automated tested and integration testing is also important.
• Test Case Design: Ability to design comprehensive and effective test cases that cover various scenarios and edge cases. This includes understanding requirements and creating test cases that validate the expected behavior of the system.
• Test Scenario Creation: Proficiency in creating test scenarios that simulate real-world usage and cover end-to-end business processes. This involves understanding user workflows, system interactions, and data dependencies to design realistic test scenarios.
• Test Automation: Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, to automate repetitive and time-consuming test cases. Knowledge of scripting languages like Java or Python is beneficial for creating automated test scripts.
• Test Technology: Familiarity with Testing technologies, such as web services (RESTful APIs), JSON, and other relevant data exchange formats commonly used in the industry.
• Data Technology: Proficient in SQL, with a strong understanding of relational databases and experience in optimizing their performance. Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data technologies.
• Defect Management: Understanding of defect tracking and management processes, including logging, tracking, and verifying defects. Proficiency in using defect tracking tools like JIRA or qTest is preferred.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders. This includes the ability to clearly document test cases, report defects, and provide status updates.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot problems. Strong problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying root causes and providing detailed information to developers for issue resolution.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the domain in which Maximo and eSOMS systems are used, such as asset management, facilities management, or enterprise operations. This helps in understanding the business context and requirements for effective testing.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the field of software testing. This includes attending training sessions, webinar.
