Your team responsibilities

Partner with Global Payroll Team, development team and stakeholders to ensure Workday Payroll and Time Tracking modules are successfully implemented. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, system architects and stakeholders to identify business requirements and manage the successful implementation of vendor systems by ensuring the company policy and local legislation are adhered to and implementing best practices with a focus on process improvement and automation.

Your key responsibilities

· Ensure alignment with project goals and timelines are adhered to

· Applying subject matter expertise in evaluating business requirements against solutions being implemented

· Overseeing the development, testing and implementation of solutions to ensure they meet defined requirements.

· Documenting future processes for payroll team, creating how to guides for user experience and disseminate information to all relevant stakeholders

· Understand cross functional impacts of certain configuration decisions and the downstream impact of changes

· Key point of contact with the project team to ensure critical activities are executed timely and successfully. Assist with all escalations issues and remove obstacles for team

· Assistance with the preparation of documentation required for global external/internal audits and assist with payroll reporting requests from internal/external partners

· Coordinate and support payroll projects assigned to the Global Payroll Team.

· Responsible for write up of Business Requirement documentation for Global Payroll Projects.

· Take minutes at meetings and handle task assignment for Global Payroll projects

· Assist with implementation of Payroll Ticketing system. Monitor reporting and metrics.

· Facilitate Jira board activity on the daily global payroll calls

· Prepare agendas for weekly snack and learn meetings

· Communicate professionally and regularly with global payroll vendors to ensure timely, accurate processing and knowledge of local requirements. Manage projects with vendors to completion

· Research and propose resolution of any data conflicts that impact global payroll processing and escalate and address critical issues in a timely manner, drive corrective actions to mitigate issues

· Support day to day integration activities which require interaction with global teams

· Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external departments

· Maintain Payroll KPI dashboard

· Payroll Reporting and Analysis: Generate payroll reports and analytics, providing insights to finance leadership and supporting financial decision-making

· Internal and External Audits: Assist with payroll-related audit requests, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance is an advantage)

· Workday System and Payroll experience a plus

· Fluency in written and spoken English is an advantage

· 3+ years’ professional experience, preferably within a similar payroll

· Experience of working within an international and multi-cultural environment

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· High level of technical ability in MS Excel, Powerpoint and other computer desktop applications

· Highly motivated and proactive individual, project management experience a plus

· Strong communication skills and fosters team environment

· Detail-focused approach to ensure that all payroll is performed to the highest level of accuracy and to ensure that all control steps within the payroll process are rigorously adhered to

· Ability to work independently, demonstrating a logical thought process and an ability to assimilate new information and tasks quickly

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and to re-align priorities when required
