• Responsible for maintenance function, accountable & responsible for predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance for all equipment within an entity. Hierarchical management involving the elaboration, application & overall management of standardized processes and plans to ensure safety, quality, service / availability, cost. Strong contributor to continuous improvement.
• Hierarchical responsibilities with associated people management & budgetary accountability.
• Awareness of electrical and mechanical maintenance duties Reads technical documents Familiar with company standards and industry best practices for Environmental, Safety & HealthCommunicates with and understands the needs of individual internal customers (Machine Operators/Production Associates).
• Develops safe work plans and is knowledgeable in plant emergency response procedures/duties required of the maintenance team. Interprets technical documents to complete maintenance tasks for responsible areas and equipment. Understands the needs and priorities of production departments and effectively coordinates with manufacturing management.
• Understands internal/external customer needs and critical areas of support and communicates issues and potential solutions when Necessary Troubleshoots/repairs equipment in responsible area. Complies with all environmental, safety, and health policies governing safe maintenance practices.
• Leads problem solving teams in analyzing and resolving complex maintenance issues. Prioritizes and deploys critical resources to maintenance issues aligned to production schedules. Establishes measurements to track maintenance performance. Utilizes Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) methodology to prevent potential equipment failures.
• Advises on industry best practices in Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies. Subject matter expert in implementation and execution of autonomous maintenance and safety and environmental policies related to maintenance activities. Champions completion of maintenance activities to assure optimal customer value add.
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Proven experience in maintenance management at least 5 years within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong understanding of plant equipment and systems.

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing maintenance team.Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and predictive maintenance technologies.
