Position Overview

The Global Advanced Engineering Specialist will drive innovation and continuous improvement within our manufacturing processes, leveraging advanced engineering principles and data analytics to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional technical skills and a passion for engineering excellence.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Build and keep updated a multiyear strategic CAPEX investment plan for all ESAB facilities, as well as global prioritization recommendations for budget cycles.
• Lead Capex implementation for flowless execution and secure investment returns.
• Support Capex implementation for flowless execution and secure investment returns.
• Build and keep updated a network of preferred suppliers for new equipment.
• Document and share best practices of production & packaging process across ESAB facilities.
• Build and run with R&D a road map of innovations that can support ESAB competitive advantage; i.e. lower cost to produce, less production associated risks, unique welding performance.
• Guarantee that our Manufacturing footprint is distributed in the most effective and productive way.
• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Excellence group on conversion cost reduction initiatives.
• Capacity vs demand action plan execution.
  
  

Qualifications (Include Education, Experience, Technical, Travel And Language Requirements)

• 5+ years in similar Engineering / Manufacturing / Project management / Continous improvement related positionsBachelor Degree - Engineering
• Strong interpersonal communication skills at all organizational levels
• High problem solving and project management skills
• English: High, fluent business conversation.
• May require travel to various manufacturing sites globally.
