As an Intern Bachelors Systems Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of systems engineering and project management for Power Systems products (APU, generators and RAT). You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers to support the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and projects. This internship will provide you with valuable skills and knowledge that will help kickstart your career in the aerospace engineering industry.
You will report directly to the Project Engineering Manager for Power Systems and you'll work onsite at MRTC.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects and gain exposure to different aspects of systems engineering. You will assist in the development of system architectures, participate in the testing and integration of systems, and provide support in project planning and execution. This internship will provide you with a hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation and efficiency.
At the end of this internship you will have created a tool for documenting procedures for stress and structural analysis, you will have participated in the development of key products in the Power Systems and gained valuable knowledge in managing complex programs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development of system architectures and designs.
Support the testing and integration of complex systems.
Provide assistance in project planning and execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Work with Lead Systems Engineering in the development of a tool for consolidating stress analysis procedures.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree student as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
WE VALUE
Knowledge of systems engineering principles.
Product knowledge of APUs, generators and RAT.
Familiarity with project management methodologies.
Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
