Job Objective: The IT Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing processes and scripts for the management and maintenance of endpoints in an IT environment. The primary focus will be on automating tasks related to security, system management, and troubleshooting, as well as continuous process improvement through the use of PowerShell and other related tools.

PowerShell Script Development and Management:
Job Objective: The IT Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing processes and scripts for the management and maintenance of endpoints in an IT environment. The primary focus will be on automating tasks related to security, system management, and troubleshooting, as well as continuous process improvement through the use of PowerShell and other related tools.
Responsibilities:
PowerShell Script Development and Management:
- Create and manage PowerShell scripts ranging from simple to complex to configure, manage, and query endpoints.
- Develop scripts to automate endpoint maintenance tasks, ensuring system efficiency and security.
- Automate processes and tasks using PowerShell and task schedulers.
- Implement security-related software for endpoint protection, specifically for Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Configure and manage security policies via PowerShell and other tools, including changes to the Windows registry.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve issues related to endpoints, software, and security.
- Diagnose and adjust configurations to ensure the performance and security of systems.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server services and Active Directory (AD), including services such as Wins, DNS, and DHCP.
- Collaborate in implementing security policies and changes to AD configurations.
- Participate in vulnerability and patch management using tools such as MS SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
- Oversee the implementation of security patches and updates across systems and endpoints.
- Technical Experience:
- Solid experience implementing and managing endpoint security software, with a focus on Windows 10/11.
- In-depth knowledge of PowerShell and the ability to write scripts, manage files, use Cmdlets, WMI/CIM classes, and Win32 functions.
- Ability to create PowerShell scripts for endpoint configuration, management, and querying.
- Experience in automating processes using PowerShell and task schedulers.
- Additional Knowledge:
- Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory (AD) services (Wins, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with security policies, Group Policies, and modifications to the Windows registry.
- Basic knowledge of MS SCCM and vulnerability and patch management.
- Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within an IT team.
- Strong communication skills for documenting processes and providing support.
- Certifications related to IT security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP).
- Knowledge of other IT automation tools and system management platforms.
