The Insights Manager is a strategic thought partner who will provide consumer understanding, strategy recommendations, and research analysis to drive brand and business growth. This role will manage research, participate in ideations, and help identify compelling insights to develop solutions for business challenges and opportunities.
What You Can Expect:
- Develops and implements research plans to address knowledge gaps and inform brand strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Analyzes and interprets data from various sources, including market research, consumer insights, and sales data, to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for brand growth.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to integrate consumer insights into brand-building initiatives and ensure a consumer-centric approach.
- Manages the design, commissioning, and analysis of consumer research projects, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively within budget and timeline constraints.
- Contributes to innovation by assisting in opportunity identification, testing, and new product/brand development, providing insights to support the development of successful new products and brand extensions.
- Communicates research findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely, using data visualization and storytelling techniques to convey insights and influence decision-making effectively.
- Stays abreast of industry trends, consumer behavior, and research methodologies, continuously developing knowledge and expertise to provide cutting-edge insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in consumer planning or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills, with experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing research projects to generate actionable insights.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data analysis software and statistical analysis, enabling the manipulation and interpretation of complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and draw conclusions, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to challenge the status quo, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach to research and analysis.
- Collaborative and creative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Experience in spirits/beer/luxury/beauty industry/CPG
