About The Position
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Aguascalientes Plant Maintenance team, reporting directly to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the Maintenance Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of machinery and equipment within our facility. You will play a critical role in maintaining high levels of productivity by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

About The Position
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Aguascalientes Plant Maintenance team, reporting directly to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor.

As the Maintenance Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of machinery and equipment within our facility. You will play a critical role in maintaining high levels of productivity by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Plan, design, and execute the correct, predictive, and preventive maintenance activities
- Setup, program, operate, debug the SMT equipment.
- Develop continuous improvement plans.
- Optimize time and maintenance costs.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs.
- Manage maintenance engineering activities to guarantee the delivery of products.
- Develop and implement standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with process engineering to improve the manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment troubleshooting, and repair techniques
- Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
