Quality Engineer

As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing a quality system to guarantee customer and regulatory requirements together with business objectives.

What You Will Do

• Review product engineering designs and provide technical assistance when required
• Monitor the quality reliability processes of the product
• Lead interdepartmental teams to focus them on quality continuous improvement, providing them with concrete solutions
• Investigate and document the findings in the production lines
• Establish quality criteria for the finished product inspection, subassemblies, rework, processes, and documents
• Develop plans for the cost reduction plan implementation
• Validate the current manufacturing processes
• Monitor and validate the processes of new products
• Document and follow up on material issues with internal or internal suppliers
• Participate in the solution of preventive and corrective actions of products and processes
• Support and Assist in the problems related to the findings reported by the auditors and/ or inspectors from the quality department
• Support the quality system
• Follow up and solution the corrective actions from customer complaints (DOA)
• Coordinate the purge process of the different materials with supplier’s problems
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5 years of experience
• College Degree
• Solid knowledge of Lean, 5’s and 6 Sigma
• Technical drawing interpretation
• Statistical Process Control and Quality Planning (SPC, Control Charts, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP, QFD, POKA YOKE)
• Measurement and Test Equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, scale, basic CMM, test equipment, etc)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
