- This is a temporary position.
- 100% on-site.
Responsible for the EHS program at Toluca Plant, including safety, security, environmental, and health, including regulatory permits/requisites.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Provide technical advice to the Site (BC Toluca Plant) regarding the creation and implementation of industrial safety and hygiene programs
- Plan, direct, and supervise the activities of internal staff and contractors in terms of safety.
- Ensure compliance culture with Global and local Policies, Standards, and/or Procedures in the department, in matters of industrial safety and hygiene.
- Direct training programs on industrial safety and hygiene.
- Establish, together with the immediate superior, the policies, standard,s and/or procedures to be followed in matters of industrial safety and hygiene.
- Coordinate the inspection process at workstations.
- Advise the Industrial Safety and Hygiene Committee regarding the matter.
- Integrate brigades with personnel from all shifts who are prepared and trained to respond to any emergency such as: fires, earthquakes, threats, accidents, etc.
- Perform evacuation drills, periodically, as well as test alarms
- Lead in crisis, work accidents, threatening situations, tremors, injured people, stressed people, etc.
- Investigate work accidents, determine their causes, and recommend corrective measures
- Record and analyze workplace accident statistics.
- Develop standards and/or procedures related to the acquisition and provision of personal protective equipment according to areas and functions.
- Strict compliance with regulations by government entities
- Patrimonial security and contact with companies in the industrial park
- In conjunction with the Medical Service, carry out risk studies
- Bachelor's degree, engineering preferred.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in the safety area in manufacturing companies, preferably in the food sector.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge on Mexican Health and Safety, Civil Protection, and Hygiene Standards.
- Advanced Microsoft Office.
- Fluent English
- Experience in handling crises, work accidents, threatening situations, tremors, injured people, stressed people, etc.
