About The Role

As a Senior Commodity Manager - MRO CMX, you will provide strategic leadership and category oversight for the MRO category. This role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to drive innovation and improve end-to-end value. Your impact will be significant as you help shape the sourcing strategy and ensure the efficient management of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Commodity Manager - MRO CMX, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight for the MRO category, including sourcing strategy development, execution, negotiations, contract implementation, and performance against established targets.
  • Developing and owning the global commodity/category strategy based on deep subject matter expertise and an understanding of industry/market dynamics.
  • Building deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers, including data review and analysis, performance management, and development and improvement of end-to-end value.
  • Negotiating commercial terms and establishing contracts.
  • Running sourcing events to align with the sourcing strategy, selecting suppliers, and driving change management.
  • Partnering with internal customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities to positively impact the business.
  • Defining preferred suppliers and working with sites globally on sourcing from them.
  • Identifying trends in the marketplace and developing plans to mitigate risks and capture opportunities.
  • Conducting operational and spend analysis, developing and executing annual sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier performance, and providing operational support.
  • Escalating issues that may impact the supply chain organization and effectively managing those issues.

As a Minimum, You Must Have

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Management, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with at least 7 years of professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing the MRO category in a multi-regional or global organization, with demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, negotiations, contract management, and driving productivity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.

Although Not Mandatory, The Following Qualifications Would Be Advantageous

  • Experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
