About The Role

The key focus of this role is to ensure the provision of professional HR generalist service to all managers and employees. This individual will apply his/her knowledge and understanding of employee relations, recruitment and selection, discipline and grievance and all other HR generalist activities. The individual will also act as an internal consultant on all employment issues and will possess strong knowledge of legislation to ensure managers and employees are advised correctly and within company policy and employment law guidelines.

The employee has the authority granted by the company through this document to make decisions for the benefit of the company to ensure the conformity of the product, its quality, functionality, the health and safety of the person who intervenes in the process according with quality, safety and environmental systems and customer specific requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Supports the HR business partner & the responsible for each division with the execution of all HR initiatives.
  • Budget management.
  • Administration and monitoring of POs and PR.
  • Maintain records and reports related to assigned activities.
  • Work with HR team members to develop and deliver best in class people’s services.
  • Serve as the first point of contact to address questions from employees and managers on employment matters.
  • Ensures the resolution of employee relations issues of various levels of complexity, with guidance as needed from the HR business partner or more senior team members.
  • Advise on company procedures and interpretation of policies in line with employment legislation to ensure the application in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Maintains and update employee records ensuring that current legislation is adhered to and that best practice is followed.
  • Support the development, communication and implementation of various human resources initiatives including performance management, compensation, target setting and career development.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and exit interviews as required.
  • Collect and provide data on employee concerns, including engagement and morale, and use this to make relevant recommendations.
  • Support of payroll administration.
  • Responsible for initiating various employee actions (i.e. leaves of absence, salary changes, terminations, etc.).
  • Authority: this position has the authority granted by the company through this document to make decisions for the benefit of the company and ensure the conformity of the product, quality, functionality and security of whoever participates in the process.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other HR-related disciplines.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role HR Generalist, in companies with more than 500+ employees.
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced Excel
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of employment laws, HR procedures and practices.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with an aptitude for learning and using new software tools.
  • Strong knowledge of key HR systems, such as HRIS/Payroll systems, performance management, succession planning and recruiting.
