Manager - IT Applications - TTC

Objective

The Manager – IT Applications is responsible for the strategic planning for the overall applications team. In a key role as a strategic business partner for supporting and managing applications, this opportunity requires the ability to communicate needs and requirements between sales, manufacturing, operational, and technical organizations. This position will provide leadership responsibilities of supporting a global applications team.

Responsibilities/Skills

• Assist with the technology roadmap for ERP application & third-party connectivity solutions
• Deploy new artificial intelligence & automation software solutions to deliver manufacturing efficiencies
• Manage outsourcing of internal .NET applications & EDI third-party professional services
• Build out a cohesive Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) program to be adaptable & flexible to customer requirements
• Support Industry 4.0 of automation, digitization, & computer connectivity of manufacturing-based systems
• Deliver Human Resource application support solutions to best meet the needs of the HR organization
• Responsible for managing capital & operational budgets to best support business & user-defined application solutions
• Closely align to IT Operations & Infrastructure teams to deliver comprehensive applications strategy
• Develop & maintain critical business & manufacturing customer relationships
• Continuously analyze existing environments and recommend related modifications and/or new integrations as needed to meet customer & organizational needs
• Communicate with business leaders, deliver upon expectations, & drive decision making to achieve results
• Coach & mentor team members to increase capability & required technical knowledge to best support the customer
• Comply with the environmental, health, safety and energy requirements set forth in Federal, State and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products to comply with the EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures inherent to their work position.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System, including the achievement of the EMASS Objectives and Goals
  
  

Required Profile

Education and Experience

• BS Computer Science, Business Systems Analysis or equivalent experience.
• 8 years plus experience with ERP systems, preferably Plex.
  
  

Skills/Knowledge Requirements

• Analytical & problem-solving skills
• Understanding of key EDI transactions (planning schedules & shipping schedules).
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels while driving teamwork and balance between stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Experienced in building out high performing teams within a manufacturing environment.
  
  

Technical/ Business Knowledge

• Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems & processes
• IT Project management with understanding formal methodologies.
• Insight into Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales processes in a manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, domestically & internationally.
• Ability to work in an office & manufacturing environment.
• In-person requirement at the office.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English (fluent)
