Additionally, the Sr. Manager will oversee their area of responsibility, lead direct and indirect reports, and ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies and programs.

Who Are We Looking For
We are seeking a Sr. Manager P&C Business Partner to provide strategic HR support and guidance for our business. This role involves solving significant people and cultural issues, enabling business changes, advocating for HR programs, and partnering with the business on key talent initiatives. The Sr. Manager will ensure that HR practices and policies align with the overall business objectives and contribute to the organization's success. Additionally, the Sr. Manager will oversee their area of responsibility, lead direct and indirect reports, and ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Consulting and Coaching: Provide expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment, including hiring, termination, performance management, and rewards. Work with business leaders to tackle significant people and cultural issues.
- Enabling Business Change: Support the talent aspects of organization structure changes and talent integration related to mergers and acquisitions.
- HR Program Advocacy: Communicate the business value of HR initiatives and manage HR program roll-out to minimize business disruption.
- Partnering with the Business: Collaborate with talent management, staffing, and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives such as workforce planning, high-potential employee development, and succession planning.
- Management and Supervision: Oversee the area of responsibility, plan, prioritize, and direct the responsibilities of employees. Achieve goals through the performance of direct and/or indirect reports.
- Tactical and Operational Planning: Establish key elements of tactical and operational plans with measurable contributions towards the achievement of results.
- Budget and P&L Accountability: Manage elements of the budget or have accountability for the area of responsibility.
Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent are desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years in HR management, with strong HR business partner roles.
- Shown expertise in HR consulting, coaching, and employment regulations.
- Experience in supporting organizational changes and talent integration.
- Ability to advocate for HR programs and communicate their value.
- Collaboration with business leaders on key talent initiatives.
- Strong management and supervisory skills.
- Experience in tactical and operational planning.
- Budget or P&L accountability preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Expertise in HR practices, policies, and regulations.
- Critical thinking and change management skills.
- Coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
