Cost Accountant

As a Cost Accountant, you will assist the Segment Controller with cost accounting activities regarding standard costing, variance analysis, inventory, month end close activities, establishing standards, productivity and efficiency reporting.

Main Responsibilities

• Helping the Development and maintaining standard costs.
• Performing monthly closing activities, including preparation of manufacturing variances along with supporting analysis.
• Proactively analyzing variances and communicating issues and opportunities to team.
• Developing metrics including productivity and efficiency as well as tracking system for major cost drivers.
• Participating in profitability analysis regarding quoting and costing.
• Analyzing cost expenditures related to the manufacturing processes in the facility.
• Producing detailed cost reports and analyses in support of operations and sales.
• Sox Compliance.
• Assist in Physical Inventory and Cycle Count Activities.
• Other related analysis and activities as assigned.
