Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

• Responsable de dar soporte en el despliegue de actividades que sean requeridas para la mejora continua en áreas de producción.
• Soporte a proyectos de Ingeniería/Lean Mfg.(Proyectos de balanceo, diseño de layout, proyectos de reducción de costos)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinar y Participar en auditorias 5’s
• Capacitacion y entrenamiento a personal de nuevo ingreso 5S/ikaizen
• Toma de tiempos y balanceo de linea.
• Líder de cambio, ser participe en la implementación de mejoras
• Liderar eventos y coordinar equipos de trabajo para lograr la mejora en los procesos de produccion
• Generar mapas de proceso
• Análisis de proceso, reduccion y eliminacion de desperdicio
• Coordinacion de eventos de mejroa continua

• Carrera Tecnica
• +5 años de experiencia

• Habilidades computacionales.
• Conocimientos de Ingenieria Industrial (Tack Time, Desperdicios Lean)
• AUTOCAD
• Visio / eVSM
• Conocimiento de metodología DMAIC
