It's time to join our team and help create more sustainable environments!We are currently looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to join us in Mexico.

If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-driven company, please read on.Position ObjectiveDefine and manage the plant's maintenance strategy and asset care in alignment with business guidelines and in compliance with policies and regulations, in order to ensure the availability and operational continuity of the plant's equipment and facilities.ResponsibilitiesGeneral:Identify hazards and risks associated with maintenance activities, as well as environmental aspects and impacts.Ensure the development of personnel under your supervision, validating that they possess the necessary skills and technical competencies for their roles, and that they comply with preventive health campaigns and medical check-ups as defined by the organization.Ensure the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for all plant assets.Specific:Lead analysis to determine critical equipment within the plant, identify key operational issues, and develop a work plan to eliminate them from the root cause.Lead audits for the Integrated Management Systems (ISRS) and any required by government or non-government institutions.Know and comply with all legal requirements applicable to the area, based on the legal requirements matrix.Identify, request, and allocate necessary resources for maintenance activities to meet the operational standards for plant assets.Prepare and propose the maintenance operating budget to keep equipment and facilities in optimal working condition, in accordance with company policies.Request and manage CAPEX funding to improve the performance of equipment and facilities.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, managing both unionized and non-unionized personnel.Professional degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, or Mechatronics).Experience managing contractorsMaintenance experience in extrusion, injection molding, and tooling plants.Knowledge of occupational health and safety.Experience with management systems.Project experience (including use of CAPEX and SAP).Strong leadership skills.Experience working with labor unions (sindicatos).Advanced English proficiency.What Orbia Building & Infrastructure OffersDo you want to make a difference by working with a purpose?
