WE ARE LOOKING FOR DEVOPS ENGINEER¡HeyDontois seeking a highly skilled and motivatedDevOps Engineerto join our dynamic technology team.
This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform.
Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in automating our operations and processes, working extensively with technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and GitHub CI/CD, while also supporting our compliance initiatives through platforms like Drata.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure and Automation:
Design and Implement IaC:Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to manage our GCP environment, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments.
Kubernetes Management:Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, including cluster setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Cloud Platform Operations (GCP):Administer and optimize our GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and security resources.
CI/CD Pipeline Development:Build, maintain, and enhance robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate testing, integration, and deployment of software.
Operations And Reliability
Monitoring and Logging:Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of our applications and infrastructure.
System Stability and Performance:Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring system stability and optimal resource utilization.
Security And Compliance
Security Best Practices:Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and development lifecycle.
Compliance Management:Work with compliance platforms like Drata to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, managing evidence collection and audit processes.
Vulnerability Management:Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in the infrastructure and applications.
Collaboration And Communication
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and facilitate efficient software delivery.
Documentation:Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
QualificationsExperience
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform.
Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
Demonstrable experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
Solid experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
Skills
Experience with compliance management tools (e.g., Drata) and understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) is a strong plus.Skills:
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
Excellent understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.Technical Expertise:
Cloud Platforms:Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential; experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.
IaC:Terraform.
Containerization & Orchestration:Kubernetes, Docker.
