Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Responsible of direct material receipt process (Booking in SAP, staging, inventory control, storage and delivery to supermarkets).
  • Ensure material receipt in SAP (
  • Discrepancies report follow up with planning and purchasing team.
  • Ensure components for subassembly process and assembly lines. Implement picklist process for supermarkets.
  • Coordinates receiving and supermarket team, define KPI´s and define improvement strategies.
  • Develop and implement the material handling concept to ensure inventory reliability and traceability.
  • Create procedures and work instructions for receiving, storage and supermarket process.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy >95%, responsible of inventory management for raw material in the plant; Responsible of annual inventory plan.
  • Create picking and delivery plan to supermarkets to ensure stock in supermarkets according production requirements.
  • Forecasts plans for anticipated materials requirements.
  • Create daily unloading plan.
  • Review production schedules to ensure the availability of materials.
  • Create a team self-directed focused on tactical KPIs.
  • Make sure correct material handling.
  • Control of obsolete materials.
  • Implement 5 S´s plan.
  • Improve material flow and layout in warehouse and supermarkets.

  • Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
    • Strong knowledge in SAP, WMS.
    • Warehouse experience with Lean Manufacturing basics.
    • Experience on Logistics Engineering to continuous improvement of department.
    • Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong verbal skills to effectively communicate with other departments required.
    • Ability to develop and maintain strong, team-oriented relationships with co-workers.
    • Expert knowledge in data analysis tools including Excel, ERP system.
    • Strong background on Warehouse management, systems, safety rules
    • Strong Leadership.
    • English required, able to speak fluently.
