Analyze manufacturing processes to improve plant safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity. You will help resolve issues that directly impact manufacturing operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the design and enhancement of existing manufacturing processes following company guidelines.
- Create and ensure documentation required for process execution is accurate and complete.
- Design fixtures, ergonomic workstations, and identify tools or equipment that improve productivity.
- Conduct time and motion studies and help categorize operational activities.
- Address operational needs reported by manufacturing areas.
- Oversee and follow up on corrective and preventive actions within the area.
- Help introduce new products, equipment, or engineering changes.
- Maintain current manufacturing systems.
- Participate in safety committees.
- Comply with our environmental, health, safety, and quality standards.
- Education: Technical degree or engineering in mechanics or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year in manufacturing or related processes.
- Technical skills:
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel (can write advanced macros).
- Knowledge in process analysis and ergonomic design.
- White Belt certification (or equivalent).
