Job Description
This intermediate level position is responsible for carrying out broad engineering assignments, performing independent evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. This position works with leadership to solve unusual problems, offer recommendations, and develop area practices, it will also give a strong support to management.

Plant Engineer
Job Description
This intermediate level position is responsible for carrying out broad engineering assignments, performing independent evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. This position works with leadership to solve unusual problems, offer recommendations, and develop area practices, it will also give a strong support to management.
Primary Activities
- Audits and maintains incentive pay programs and work measurements by use of accepted analytical techniques to provide adequate earnings opportunities equally to all operators.
- Develops and applies new methods for more efficient use of available equipment, and searches for and evaluates new equipment and systems.
- Develops accurate information on product costs based on piece rates and manufacturing specifications for use by management.
- Works with production operators on methods and performance
- Specifies quality standards and works with quality control to ensure that production levels are maintained without sacrificing quality of the product.
- Assists line management in solving technical problems.
- Develops and maintains cost control systems. This includes working with management to institute cost controls or cost reduction projects.
- Provides a good physical layout and necessary equipment to meet production schedules, while allowing for flexibility.
- Engineer Degree
