Job Summary

Development and implementation of manufacturing processes supported by current available technology, utilizing alternative resources aimed at achieving innovative solutions for production lines, as well as minimizing response times for the implementation of new projects and products.

Education

Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related fields.

Position Objective

  • Lead changes in manufacturing systems
  • Install new machinery
  • Execute turnkey projects
  • Transfer machinery and/or production lines
  • Support training in the correct use of machinery and equipment in the area
  • Design and support implementations related to EH&S, Quality, Product, and Operations
  • Develop improvement plans for machinery and processes
  • Search for new technology for manufacturing processes in the HVAC field
  • Develop suppliers for new processes and engineering changes

Areas Of Experience

  • Execution and planning of key projects
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, processes, or maintenance
  • Experience in HVAC manufacturing processes
  • Manual and automatic welding (autobrazing)
  • Knowledge of aluminum and copper welding (automatic)
  • Helium high-vacuum leak testing
  • Refrigerant charging systems (Serv I Quip, Agrawko, LSI)
  • Experience with testing routines, run tests, electrical testing
  • Development and interpretation of vacuum systems
  • Painting booths (automatic)
  • CAD
  • Problem-solving methodologies
  • Ergonomics knowledge for practical applications in production lines

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing systems from concept through stable production
  • Integrate product, process, safety, quality, and operations requirements into machinery and equipment development and improvement
  • Develop future-state plans for machinery and processes with the help of current technology
  • Execute project changes ensuring PCR compliance
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing engineer responsible for the area to create a sustainment system for new projects (documentation, tooling, procedures)
  • Develop new applications with technology providers based on our needs

Requirements

  • Conversational English
  • Knowledge of Mechanics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
  • Lean Manufacturing
