We are seeking an Planing Supervisor is accountable for maintaining a stable and effective operating cadence through structured planning routines, S&OP participation, and operational review processes. This role is also responsible for improving planning performance through KPI management, master data integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the site end-to-end planning process, including demand review, supply planning, master production scheduling (MPS), and MRP parameter management.

Translate forecasts, customer orders, and project requirements into feasible supply plans aligned with capacity, lead times, and inventory targets.

Drive daily and weekly execution reviews to monitor plan adherence, escalate constraints, and coordinate timely recovery actions.

Partner closely with Purchasing, Production, and Operations to align procurement priorities, sequencing, and capacity plans with the approved supply plan.

Identify material and capacity risks early and lead mitigation activities, including rescheduling, substitution, safety stock adjustments, and alternate sourcing requests.

Support new product introductions and project launches through defined planning strategies, ramp-up plans, and readiness checkpoints.

Monitor and improve key planning KPIs, including schedule adherence, on-time delivery, plan stability, inventory health, shortages, and back orders.

Maintain and improve ERP master data that impacts planning performance, including BOMs, lead times, lot sizes, safety stock levels, and routings.

Standardize planning routines, reporting, and governance through effective S&OP cadence, tier meetings, and disciplined action tracking.

Lead, coach, and develop planning team members, while driving continuous improvement to reduce variability, shorten lead times, and strengthen service performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or a related planning role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP planning logic, master scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Customer Service.
- Proven ability to influence decisions, build alignment, and drive execution without direct authority.
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into practical, executable plans.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including effective meeting facilitation, decision-making discipline, and strong English proficiency.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement mindset, with a disciplined approach to standard work and process improvement.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred; ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP is a plus.
