Quality Engineer (AR)

Descripción y detalle de las actividades

• RMAs – lead the failure analysis of customer returns and report findings in 8D format. Maintain database related to customer returns. Coordinate and collaborate with the broader technical team on corrective actions.
• Test Lab - execute and monitor mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests. Generate technical reports and review results with Engineering and Manufacturing teams for product improvements.
• DMRs – assist in the investigation of nonconforming material generated from production, molding, etc. and support the DMR process through final disposition.
• Communication – expected to communicate to various stakeholders, from production staff and managers to suppliers and customers
• Technical Aptitude – able to read and interpret technical specifications. Familiar with common materials and manufacturing processes. Experience with measurement techniques and tools (including video measurement equipment).
• Problem Solving – use of common problem-solving tools (A3, 8D, QRQC) to assist the Quality team in identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions

Experiencia y requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (technician experience applicable) in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of core quality engineering tools (root cause analysis, problem-solving, measurement)
• Familiarity with electronics testing equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope)
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications related to electronics products

• Mechanical aptitude, ability to disassemble products is a must
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
