General Finance Senior Analyst

Position Title: General Accountant Reports to: Accounting Manager

The General Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely month-end and year-end close processes. This role works closely with internal teams to maintain the integrity of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy in compliance with company policies and accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS).
• Support SOX controls, internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies within accounting operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience in a corporate or shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit support is a plus.
• Advanced English level (written and verbal) preferred.
