Responsible for leading shift operations in manufacturing, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement, productivity, and cost efficiency through SIS methodology

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing strategies to achieve plant KPIs (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Productivity).
  • Identify and eliminate losses and waste using data analysis and continuous improvement tools (SIS, root cause analysis, 5 Whys).
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Optimize production flow by eliminating bottlenecks and ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Drive quality performance through implementation of QA systems, standards, and corrective actions.
  • Manage cost deployment initiatives to reduce manufacturing expenses and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and coach teams, strengthening technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Ensure high employee engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee proper implementation of maintenance strategies to maximize equipment efficiency (OEE).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Engineering, Quality, HR, Finance, Supply Chain) to achieve operational goals.
  • Support environmental initiatives and compliance with ISO systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, etc.).

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of production systems, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Intermediate English level (able to maintain conversations).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and results orientation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive industry.
  • Master's degree in Productivity, Operations, or related field.
  • Experience with World Class Manufacturing / SIS methodology.
  • Knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office, CATIA, AMPS, KPT, and manufacturing tools.
  • Strong background in cost deployment, quality systems, and lean manufacturing.
  • Proven experience developing high-performance teams and driving engagement initiatives.
