General Description: The Purchasing Agent key tasks are Purchase Order Entry to support the Supply Chain Team. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with inventory management, assisting in process improvement between departments, follow-up to the Purchase orders entry, confirm that orders have been received, assisting with reports and analysis. Specific Tasks: • Purchase Order Entry • Ensuring Vendor Open PO report has accurate due dates • Following up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery Microsoft Windows: Outlook, Word, and Excel (mandatory) • Additionally, this training and role are designed for the organization's growth. General Responsibilities: To best fit this role and understand the nature of the business, the training for this role will include both office and hands-on training. This position will work briefly side-by-side with each role in manufacturing and warehouse. It is essential for this role to understand the manufacturing process as well as the challenge manufacturing faces if there is a raw material shortage or customer order issue. writing and reviewing documents in English or Spanish
