Position Summary

Parker is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for the Fluid Connectors product line to support commercial growth, technical sales, and customer development across industrial accounts, distributors, and OEMs in territories covering the southern, central, and northern regions of the country.

This role is focused on promoting and selling fluid conveyance solutions, including hoses, fittings, adapters, quick couplings, tubing, and hydraulic/pneumatic components. The ideal candidate will provide consultative technical support, identify customer needs, develop business opportunities, and strengthen long-term relationships within the assigned territory.

The position requires a strong customer focus, technical aptitude, and the ability to translate application requirements into reliable Parker solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical sales growth for the Fluid Connectors product line, including:

  • Develop and manage relationships with distributors, OEMs, integrators, and industrial customers across assigned territories in the southern, central, and northern regions of the country.

  • Identify new business opportunities through field visits, technical assessments, customer engagement, and commercial follow-up.

  • Provide technical support for product selection and application in fluid conveyance systems.

  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals aligned with customer requirements.

  • Follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries, and special projects in coordination with internal teams.

  • Support distributor growth through product training, joint customer visits, and commercial initiatives.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of the market, competitors, industrial applications, and sector trends.

  • Achieve sales, margin, customer coverage, and territory development goals.

  • Represent Parker-Hannifin / THOS Internacional with professionalism, integrity, and a strong customer-oriented approach.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in industrial, hydraulic, pneumatic, or fluid conveyance markets.
  • Experience working with distributors, OEMs, and industrial customers.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutions.
  • Availability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Experience using sales tracking tools, CRM platforms, or ERP systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with the selection and application of hoses, fittings, adapters, and couplings.
  • Understanding of fluid conveyance systems in industrial and mobile applications.
  • Ability to read basic technical specifications, catalogs, drawings, or system diagrams.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for hydraulic assemblies is a plus.
  • Strong customer orientation and consultative selling approach.
  • Solid negotiation, communication, prospecting, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with inside sales, engineering, operations, and distribution teams.
  • Self-driven, organized, results-oriented, and capable of building long-term relationships with strategic customers.
