• Conocimiento sólido de normativas:
  • NOM STPS (especialmente NOM-004, NOM-019, NOM-030, NOM-017, NOM-002)
  • OSHA (deseable)
  • Conocimiento de certificaciones ISO 45001 - ISO 14001 (Deseable)
• Investigación de incidentes avanzada (5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, etc)
• Implementación de controles críticos (LOTO, trabajos en caliente, espacios confinados)
• Manejo de indicadores EHS (KPIs) y análisis de tendencias

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Chemical Engineering. Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering. 3 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Defines, evaluate and analyze the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) suitable for each operation and / or machinery in the company .

• Coordinate and development of Environmental, health and safety training .

• Risk analysis to current and new processes and equipment .

• Responsible for processing Legal permits and safety studies, meeting with Mexican regulations on safety and certifications (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, safe company, etc.) as well as Corporate requirements. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• English spoken and written (85% Advanced), ability to make presentations.

• ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 experience.

• Environmental, Hygiene and Environmental legal requirements knowledge.

• Regulations compliance.

• Risk analysis experience.

• People skills, team work, communication skills.
