- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
- Classify severity, exploitability, business impact, and appropriate remediation strategies
- Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and risk prioritization decision-making scenarios
- Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems
- Apply your practical knowledge of what actually matters in production environments — not just theoretical risk
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
- Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks (e.g., CVSS, EPSS, SSVC)
- Understands the real-world tradeoffs between theoretical severity and operational risk
- Analytical and structured thinker who can communicate complex security reasoning clearly
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
- Experience with exposure management platforms (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7)
- Background in cloud security, application security, or threat intelligence
- Familiarity with AI evaluation or data labeling workflows
- Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule
