Total Rewards & Payroll Specialist (LATAM) About the Role

At Risoul | RS, we are looking for a Total Rewards & Payroll Specialist to lead and strengthen compensation, benefits, payroll governance, and compliance processes across Latin America.

This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with deep expertise in compensation, benefits, payroll operations, and regional labor compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving process standardization, improving controls, enhancing employee experience, and ensuring alignment with global People & Culture strategies.

What You Will Do Compensation & Total Rewards

• Coordinate regional compensation processes across LATAM.
• Conduct salary analysis, labor cost evaluations, and market benchmarking.
• Develop recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, bonuses, and incentive programs.
• Ensure alignment with internal equity principles and market competitiveness.
  
  

Benefits Management

• Lead the administration and continuous improvement of benefits programs across LATAM.
• Evaluate local practices and recommend enhancements aligned with business and employee needs.
• Conduct benefits benchmarking and identify opportunities for harmonization and standardization.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and global Total Rewards strategies.
  
  

Payroll Governance & Compliance

• Strengthen payroll governance practices across multiple LATAM countries.
• Standardize payroll processes, controls, and vendor management practices.
• Ensure compliance with labor, tax, and social security requirements.
• Oversee payroll documentation and regulatory reporting requirements.
  
  

Mexico Payroll Operations

• Manage payroll review and control activities for Mexico.
• Coordinate special payroll processes, including PTU, savings fund, annual bonus, variable compensation, and termination settlements.
• Ensure compliance with SUA and employer obligations.
  
  

Financial Administration & Controls

• Coordinate payroll-related financial processes, including reconciliations, accruals, accounting support, and monthly closing activities.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Legal, People & Culture, and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation integrity and traceability.
  
  

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Certification in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Global Payroll, or related disciplines is highly desirable.
  
  

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of compensation structures, salary reviews, market benchmarking, and variable compensation programs.
• Experience managing payroll processes and compliance requirements across LATAM countries.
• Experience with labor, tax, and social security regulations applicable to payroll.
• Proven background in audits, reconciliations, and payroll controls.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• SAP and SuccessFactors.
• Data analysis and reporting tools.
• English level advanced.
