Finance Lead

Resumen

We are looking for a Finance Lead to support the execution of the company's financial and administrative operations while partnering closely with the Administration & Finance Manager.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting and finance foundation who is looking to broaden their exposure to treasury, regulatory reporting, internal controls and financial operations within a fast-growing fintech environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, financial accuracy and regulatory compliance, while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
• Review accounting reconciliations and support the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support external and internal audit activities.
  
  

Administration

• Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations and vendor management.
• Support purchasing processes, fixed asset control and administrative documentation.
• Monitor administrative expenses and support budget tracking.
  
  

Treasury & Financial Planning

• Coordinate treasury activities, including payments, transfers and cash reconciliations.
• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity monitoring.
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  
  

Regulatory Compliance

• Support the preparation of regulatory reports required by financial authorities.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable CNBV and Banco de México regulations.
• Participate in regulatory audits and follow up on action plans.
  
  

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Execute internal control activities and monitor remediation plans.
• Document financial and administrative processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimization and automation.
  
  

Financial Systems

• Support the administration and continuous improvement of Workday (or equivalent ERP).
• Participate in system testing, reporting enhancements and finance process improvements.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
  
  

Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in accounting, finance or administration.
• Experience coordinating accounting or financial operations.
• Experience using ERP systems (Workday is a plus).
• Experience in financial institutions or fintech is desirable.
• IPO Finance Experience and/or Experience on Regulation for Public Companies reports is highly desirable.

• Advanced English (C1, C2).
