Your role

Develop and lead the execution of the strategy plan for the Beverages Categories in LATAM, considering the category's potential in each subregion and customers, the regional strategy and Symrise capabilities. The role also involves suggesting the category portfolio to meet the needs of the LATAM market, identifying any product and technology gaps.

Strategy Definition and Alignment
* Leverage databases (Mintel, Euromonitor) and category expertise to define potential by region, subcategory, customer, and brand.
* Provide the framework for strategy sessions by consolidating data, coordinating cross-functional participation, and facilitating decision-making to ensure aligned results.
* Identify gaps and outside-in aligned priorities, ensuring strategy consistency through the Strategy Tracking Dashboard.

Business opportunities generation and management
* Identify companies and opportunities where Symrise's capabilities and competences in Beverages can provide a competitive advantage.
* Identify new business opportunities for beverages with customers and consolidate opportunities across different accounts, especially those outside the initial scope.
* Analyze customer and competitor data to uncover new value propositions and generate strategic initiatives in the different categories and competences.
* Use customer insights to create targeted, proactive projects/campaigns that align with market demands.

Understand and guide capabilities and GAPs
* Work closely with the B2C team to understand market needs and guide the development of solutions and competences for beverages categories.
* Identify where Symrise's capabilities can be optimized to meet market demands and address gaps.
* Regularly engage with customers to understand their priorities and assess new opportunities for product and technology implementation for beverages categories.
* Maintain communication with other regional teams to identify materials, promotions, and activities that can be leveraged (Lift & Shift) for beverages.
* Consolidate insights from global platforms, R&T, MSCI, regulatory, and other teams to shape solutions tailored to customer needs.
* Collaborate with customer teams to develop and promote value propositions addressing emerging market needs.

Support and develop value propositions generation according to the main topics for the Categories and competences plan
* Identify high potential opportunities and propose proactive projects for development and/or adaptation to the market and customer.
* Address market needs by identifying gaps and contributing to solution development for beverages.

Ecosystems Support
* Collaborate with regional ecosystem leads and local teams to create strategic partnerships that help capture high-potential opportunities.
* Support partnerships that enhance Symrise's ability to meet market demands and drive growth.

* Minimum BSc Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
* Large experience in relevant positions within the Flavor or Food Industry
* Knowledge in beverages and flavor, from both a Technical and Commercial perspective.
* Experience in a global matrix organization, and achievement of goals.
* Demonstrated ability to work across countries and cultures
* Fluency in English
* An internationally minded person, with multi-country, multi-cultural experience
* IT Skills (e.g. SAP, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
