Ownership for leading FMEA’s startup at site level according to AIAG VDA standards for all business units on the plant. Track and follow up on reverse FMEA exercises, audit periodically FMEA sustain or updates, especially after a quality impact.

What You Will Do

•Starting process failure mode analysis using molex standard. Especially when a NPI, Transfer or increase of Capacity process is initiated

•Lead new FMEA document with cross functional team to ensure a success launching when new project declared

•Periodical training to team on FMEA methodology, according AIAG VDA

•Generate strategies to assess maturity level of the plant related to FMEA document, taking on consideration but not limited to, quality, knowledge culture, effectiveness, etc.

•Collaboration with other molex plants for benchmark lessons learned for process, controls and detection method

•Teamwork with global FMEA molex product coordinator to improve plant maturity on FMEA deployment according to AIG VDA

•Track and lead reverse FMEA exercises with cross functional team once time arrives for different process

•Periodical audit on FMEA updates specifically after a QN and 8D process

•Take part periodically for 8D and A3 process as a team member to find the best root cause analysis, propose strategic and reliable contention, detection methods

•Ensure all users of FMEA has access to molex platform with right access level

•Tracking enhancement requirements for FMEA molex platform to ensure proper tool level for site

•Provide local technical support for al end users on AIAG VDA method questions or molex tool questions for FMEA

•Site admin for different FMEA versions specially to have available the last version for end user.

•Evaluate FMEA transfers conditions, taking in consideration QN historical data, especially for assets relocated from other plants and evaluate versus real to find gaps

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

•Industrial, mechanic, mechatronic engineer or similar

•3+ year on automotive manufacturing environment, quality, and or process engineering

•Knowledge on FMEA building and preparation, AIAG VDA

•Strong problem solving skills

•English speaker

•Good leadership skills

•Accountable mindset

•Good communication

•Basis on automation and manufacturing process to understand team language

What Will Put You Ahead

•5+ year on automotive manufacturing environment, quality, and process engineering. Problem solving strong skills

• Able to coach and teach FMEA methodology

•Experience on problem solving methodology: A3 – 8D

•Understanding of APQP process

•Experience with transfer projects, form manufacturing assets

•Experience on automotive connectors assembly process

•Experience on molding connectors process and or insert vertical molding
